ImageWork for Healing, Creativity and Transcendence
Five Day Practitioner Training Course, 2025
Held at the Aurora Centre, Monopoli, Puglia, Italy.
May 12– 16 (to include travel days: May 11 – 17)
Come to Puglia, and take the time to step back from your everyday world and get a life-changing training in ImageWork in the company of like-minded people at our beautiful venue overlooking the sea. This will an intimate group of up to 15 people.
The course takes place over five days, with a total of 28 hours. It is open to practitioners, including psychotherapists, counsellors, consultants, coaches, supervisors, spiritual directors, and health professionals, and also to those who are not yet practitioners but wish to explore the possibilities of working with the imagination for themselves and for others.
The course corresponds to Modules 2,3, and 4 of the Diploma in ImageWork, and focuses on the three different functions of ImageWork scripts: healing imagery, creative imagery, and transcendent imagery.
- The healing imagination exercises are used when there is a problem, an imbalance or disharmony on any level of the mind, body, emotion and spirit that needs transformation or resolution.
- The creative imagination exercises enable clients to find the goals that are right for them, to engage the will to carry these through, and to resolve problems and use their resources to best advantage.
- The transcendent imagination exercises enable clients to explore another more spacious dimension, to heal their relationship with life, death, and their deepest self and to find the balance and peace of a middle path.
After completion of the course, participants will receive an ImageWork for Healing, Creativity and Transcendence Practitioner Certificate with 28 CPD credits.
This course is presented along with the comprehensive ImageWork training book for practitioners, ‘ImageWork: The Complete Guide to Working with Transformational Imagery‘ (PCCS Books), about which leading imagery author Martin Rossman has said “In my 50 years in the field this is the best book I have read about working with imagery for healing, creativity and personal transformation. A landmark book—I shall be studying it.” People who attend the course will be expected to have read relevant portions of the book prior to coming.
