Fundamentals of ImageWork Practitioner Training Course, 2024

In person at the Aurora Centre, Monopoli, Puglia, Italy.
May 6 – 10 (to include travel days: May 5 – 11)

Come to Puglia, and take time to step back and get a life-changing training in ImageWork in the company of like-minded people at our beautiful venue overlooking the sea. This will be a small intimate group of maximum 12/14 people.

The course takes place over five days, with a total of 28 hours. It is open to practitioners, including psychotherapists, counsellors, consultants, coaches, supervisors, spiritual directors, and health professionals, and also to those who are not yet practitioners but wish to explore the possibilities of working with the imagination for themselves and for others.

This course is presented along with the comprehensive ImageWork training book for practitioners, ‘ImageWork: The Complete Guide to Working with Transformational Imagery‘ (PCCS Books), about which leading imagery author Martin Rossman has said “In my 50 years in the field this is the best book I have read about working with imagery for healing, creativity and personal transformation. A landmark book—I shall be studying it.” People who attend the course will be expected to have read relevant portions of the book prior to coming.

After completion of the course, participants will receive a Fundamentals of ImageWork Practitioner Certificate with 28 CPD credits.

Some of the topics to be covered are:

• Harnessing the power of ImageWork to access and transform the images that unconsciously guide our lives.
• The theoretical context of ImageWork.
• Working with the plasticity of the imagination.
• Introducing the key practices and language of successful imagingHow to create a shared world of imagery, in which images are not treated as private but as part of a shared reality.
• Demonstration and practice sessions throughout.

Please note: Numbers are limited to 12/14 people, and as courses at the Aurora Centre in Monopoli are always oversubscribed, it is advisable to book as soon as possible to ensure you have a place.
